An effective low maintenance alternative to wood for your gates and has a number of advantages over timber. We advise against producing any framework before receiving the boards as there may be a slight tolerance. :-

Not recommended for use as decking as there is no grip or drainage when connected. We do recommend at least one central bracing bar if fitting the boards vertically to help avoid movement.

We recommend a sample of the selected gate board is obtained prior to purchase to ensure colour is what you require. Colours on websites and in catalogue can be determined by monitor or printers ink so may not be exactly as the actual picture portrays.

Composite fencing offers fade properties. This means it has kept its stability of colour over the years. Like all composite materials, this does not mean it's fade-proof. Any outdoor product left outside for a long period will experience colour change. Composite fence panels are no different and do experience a change in colour. This colour change is not as aggressive when compared to wooden fencing. The colour will lighten, meaning a stone grey will turn to a light grey, and dark grey will lighten, keeping its dark appearance but around 20 to 30% lighter than its original shade. This should be considered upon purchasing, and ensure you do go up some shades to receive the finish colour you are after.
